Hi? i have 4 unglazed pots with trees in the pots are brown iand the colour is dull. s there anything I can apply to the pot to give it a nicer satin look to them. Iis this something that others do.?

When putting the pot on the show bench it is cleaned with camelia oil or similar, but if the pot is unglazed that is how it is. Depending on the species, i.e., conifer or deciduous will dictate glazed or unglazed pot for the tree.

You say that the trees in the pot is brown and dull. Do you mean they have a health problem or is it just that you do not like the combination of tree and pot? If it is the later, just look for a pot you like better and repot come spring.

I do not agree totally on the simplification saying conifers in unglazed and broar leafs in glazed. It is not a fixed rule and there are several good examples not sticking to that out there.

Thank you what i meant was the pot is a nice looking pot shape wise but the brown is slightly dull I just wanted the pot to have bit of a luster to it.

The pot looks ok for the tree. You can polish the pot with any food grade oil.
