Makes sense. I am in western Sweden. Cold temperate. It is possible to grow JBP here, but they do not grow the second flush most years.

That's a bummer!! The second flush is what .akes them good! Gets ramification going faster and is easier to get the shorter needles. Bet Sweden is a great place to live. I work for Volvo over here in australia
