Hi all, I¡¯ve got a couple maples that I¡¯d like some styling thoughts on for when I get round to working on them (2 separate threads for ease). They were air layered around 5 years ago now and haven¡¯t really had much done to them apart from a few small cuts, a repot and mainly letting them grow out.
Initial plan with this one is to remove F (no real taper from the initial branch cut), and remove B (thicker than A and has been sticking towards the front so far). The section under E still looks a bit chunky/straight though - I perhaps should have kept D as the leader early on.
Any thoughts welcome - labeled for easier reference.
Tree is around 95cm / 37¡± tall from the soil
Pot is 27cm / 10.5¡± square

I would go for D, but it is your tree.
