I live in the southern California desert area and it's getting quite cold at night. I have a pomegranate tree in a very shallow dish and I'm worried about the roots freezing at night (it's getting close to the 30s at night). Should I bring the tree in? So far it seems to be okay.

I have a pomegramate which stays out allwinter and we get temps down to -10C It does take some time to come back in the spring but it does.
