Hi,

I am new to Bonsaiand after some research, got a 'Jade' bonsai (I think! ). While cleaning the pot, I did realize that there were some bugs and (once I googled) I realized those were Mealybugs.

So guys, I need the your help desperately on following the topics

1. How to Prune, wire and grow Jade 51cg?
2. How to control Mealybugs? And what are the possible effects from these?

You can prune them but not wire, Mealy bugs are the bain of the Crassulacae and not easy to control. I would use methalated sprit on a cotton bud and just keep doing it.
They will become a large plant in time, they need water but less during winter.
