I bought my bonsai just 3 months back and have followed watering. Pellets as food for my bonsai but my bonsai is still drying.

Do you know what species it is?

It looks like your bonsai might be struggling from more than just watering. From the photo, the leaves seem quite dry, which can happen if the soil isn¡¯t retaining moisture well or if the tree isn¡¯t getting the right conditions.

A couple of things to check:

1. Make sure the soil is actually absorbing water. Sometimes it becomes compacted or hydrophobic, so water just runs through. Try soaking the pot for a few minutes instead of just watering from the top.
2. Most bonsai don¡¯t do well indoors long-term. If this is a temperate species, it may need to be outside with proper light and airflow.
3. Check if the tree is still alive by lightly scratching the bark- if it¡¯s green underneath, there¡¯s still hope.
4. Pellets are fine, but if the tree is stressed, focus on stabilizing watering and light before feeding more.

It might still recover, but I¡¯d act quickly and adjust the conditions and I would maybe also recommend to check a plant care app? , which can be a huge help for you- just take a photo of the plant, and you¡¯ll immediately see a complete set of "care instructions" + Google Lens, combined with an AI tool, can also be a pretty useful tool for this (in my experience).

If it is drying or do you mean dying, drying then water it. It looks to me like it is dying though. Impossible to tell what species it is/was. Never water to a schedule, water when the plant needs it , that is when it is starting to dry out.
