This boxwood shrub has been in our front yard since way before we purchased our home in 2018. We’re planning to remove it this spring, but instead of disposing of it, I thought it might be a good candidate for a new life as a bonsai. Any thoughts or recommendations on trying this? I'm still new to the hobby and thought it could b a good experiment.?

If you plan to do it this year you need to do it very soon. I would prune back hard and let it grow for a year or two
