HelloĦ­IĦŻm, new to this group, and also a bonsai beginner.

Over the weekend, my husband bought me a bonsai at the San Diego Balboa Park Bonsaigarden.

There were other spotted bonsai, and I love the way this looks.

Can anyone assist with the ID of this little plant?

To me it looks like some type of bulbous plant. I think you need to go back to the seller and ask what it is. For sure is that it is not a bonsai.
