Hello everyone! I’m brand new to bonzai care and the forum. I recently got a beautiful little Juniper but after a couple weeks I noticed it starting to look unwell. After checking the tree, I realized it was infested. I was unable to identify the species of bug but I successfully rid the tree of the infestation using some Neem Oil.

However, ever since then my tree has not been well. I’ve tried to keep it outside, no luck. Inside, no luck. I’ve been watering regularly as well. The tree receives a good amount of sun, and I have not seen a single bug since the initial infestation.

Now most of the tree is yellow or brown with some patches of green. I brought it inside on a particularly windy day to take some pictures. I hope they help!

If there is anything I can do for my juniper please let me know, I’d love to save them and I am very distraught (

Bad news, only thing you can do with this tree, is to put it in the composting bin.

Junipers should always be outside, keeping it indoors for a week wil most likely kill it.
Few weeks back when you noticed the change in color, on that moment is was already death for a month or more.
It just does not like the dry air indoors.
It needs more then 6hours of direct sun a day.

That plant has been dead for a long time.
