Hi My 5 year old niece gave me a Japannese Juniper for my 35th birthday in July. It has been showing signs of dying over last two months I would like help to se what I can do. I water it once every 7 days. I try to put it by the window in the summer to get indirect sunlight or when its not hitting it directly. Now that its winter I bought a UV light to help it but it still shows brown leaves and are brittle.

I’m afraid your juniper is dead already. The main error was keeping it indoor. It’s an extremely hardy plant, but the harshest environment you could give it is the one inside your house...

Bofh is right,it died because it is inside.
