I wondering if junipers also can burn when get water mist under strong sun. I mist them just in morning and/or evening for reference : )

Mine are in full sun. I never mist, I think that's useless; the water evaporates quickly.

I spray them firstly after LB¡¯s advice and later I¡¯ve also learnt how they can get nuts and humidity through the foliage. Wasn¡¯t useless for me with the root rotted blight infected J.communis ; )

The question is, if they can burn or not.

/Not a myth! I¡¯ve tested on few occasions.../

If your numbers are in Fahrenheit, it means 5-10 Celsius degree. Mines are outside at 5F or -15C

Not sure what you're referring to. Spraying with water? Or chemicals?

Pure water does not cause burns.

I didn¡¯t heard anyone on the hobby from Syberia..
I think you need better winter protection than me. : D I prepare just for -15 / -20C and just short periods..

I¡¯ve got garden plants get burned on several occasions from tap water on them on strong sun, and dry weather.

It¡¯s not the loop effect.. I think too fast evaporation (dry, sunny weather) generates too much heat in too short time on a small surface.

I really cannot give you advice : ) I¡¯m a newbie myself, and I have 0 experience for keeping or wintering trees in your location.

I'm lazy in the weekends and sometimes forget that I need to water my collection. It happens often that I do that in the afternoon, in full sun (well... if we have full sun in the Netherlands). I've never seen burns on any of my trees or plants.

Waterdrops working as a lense causing sunburns has been debunked often (and yes, there may be an exception).
