Hello! I am a new bonsai tree owner. My husband and I purchased it a few weeks ago from the military base(Oahu,HI) store gardening section and we’re not too sure what kind of tree it is. All it said was bonsai tree and perennial full sun. For me it’s really hard to determine what kind of tree it is because it has different details from different trees. Please help. I need to figure out for sure what it is because I think I might be caring for it incorrectly. It looks droopy and the leaves are slowly turning brown I will attach pics of it. Pls help!!!

You can start from taking the tree outside. Indoors it is doomed to death.

and besides.. It has not much (nothing) to do with bonsai.
You have bought yourself a boulevard cutting by the looks of it.
