Quick gut-check from people who'd actually know. I'm exploring whether there's real interest in getting artist-signed and good contemporary Tokoname mame & shohin pots shipped direct from Japan, with import duties handled up front (no surprise customs bill).
Full disclosure: I'm the one looking into setting this up ¡ª nothing is for sale, I just want to learn from collectors before committing to anything.
What would matter most to you: the maker's name and provenance, or simply getting the right form, size and glaze for your tree? And what's hardest to get today from outside Japan? An honest "the supply's already fine" is just as useful to me as "yes please."
