The Pacific BonsaiMuseum is located in a wonderfully forested area, close to Seattle. It offers a great collection of over one hundred trees, all from Pacific Rim nations. We visited the museum recently, find some photos in this article as well as a video!

A few photos from the museum

Museum bonsai displays — *The displays at the museum are wonderfully minimal. Trees are periodically rotated between the growing area and display area in order to add variety and seasonal interest to the exhibit.*

Aarin Packard from the museum — *The new curator (Aarin Packard) and Oscar from 51cg. David De Groot served as the curator of the Pacific BonsaiMuseum from its opening in 1989 until his retirement in 2014.*

Sierra Juniper bonsai — *The newly aqcuired Sierra Juniper (Juniperus occidentalis), from Ryan Neil. The tree boasts some of the most unique deadwood seen on a juniper and has been aptly nicknamed "Captain Hook."*
